Because The Good Samaritan Inn is a faith-based, non-profit service organization, we depend on our wonderful volunteers and generous donors to help us continue to do the work that we do. To get involved, check out the volunteer application or donate now!

NOON MEAL
First check out our noon meal program!
Volunteers are needed to help us prepare and serve meals on a daily basis as part of the Noon Meal Program.
There are two daily shifts every day:
9AM-11AM
2-3 volunteers are needed to prepare daily meals under the supervision of our head chef.
11AM-1PM
5-7 volunteers are needed to help serve meals to the Daily Meal patrons.
MERCY GARDENS
First, check out our Mercy Gardens page!
Garden Work
We need help with daily garden tasks including weeding, planting, harvesting, and weighing. Hours are typically Mon-Fri between 7am-12pm and are by appointment only.
Lawncare/Landscaping
We need help with weekly lawncare and landscaping during non-winter months. We have both riding and hand-held/hand-propelled tools.
DO GOOD DONUTS

Donut Sales
We need help Monday, Friday, and Saturday to assist staff with boxing and selling donuts.
MERCY MARKET
First, check out our Mercy Market page!
Market Sales & Support
We need help June-October at our Mercy Market in downtown Preston Jackson Park. Duties include selling donuts or produce, supervising the bounce house, running community engagement activities, and more!
