Make a Difference Today
At The Good Samaritan Inn, our goal is to provide opportunity to the economically disadvantaged in our community. You can help either by volunteering or donating. Both resources are needed to make a difference in our community because we are a faith based, privately run, non-profit service organization. We focus on bettering the lives of those in need by feeding the hungry and providing job training. If you would like to be part of our team, please contact us today.
Thank you for joining us to change lives in our community. Volunteers are needed to help us prepare and serve meals on a daily basis. We need 4-6 volunteers from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. for preparation of the meal. We need 12-14 volunteers to help serve the meal from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to eat with us after the serving time. We need over 400 volunteers each month to feed the hungry. Click here for more volunteer information.
We rely on your financial support. Your financial gift helps us buy food, operate our building, provide scholarships for our students, and purchase seed and other garden supplies. We also accept in kind donations of food, kitchen supplies, and garden items. Please visit our blog site to access our in-kind donation wish list which will be updated regularly to reflect our changing needs.
If your group or organization would like to partner with The Good Samaritan Inn, we appreciate your help. We need financial and volunteer help to complete large projects such as building garden beds, completing our apple orchard or developing new farm lots. We actively seek grants and welcome volunteer groups so please contact us today.
